Keyboard shortcuts
These shortcuts apply while the schedule editor has focus. A text field, cell editor, browser, or operating system can take precedence. The toolbar’s shortcut hints and command menu show the actions available in your current context.
Find a command
Use Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux or Cmd+K on Mac to open the schedule command menu. Search for the action by name. This is useful when a button is inside More actions on a narrower window.
A shortcut does not bypass a lock, role requirement, or read-only file. Switch to Edit and select the relevant rows before using editing actions.

Copy/paste acts on the focused cell or grid selection. Check the selection before cutting, filling down, or pasting over existing data.
Activity and WBS structure
The structural commands use Ctrl as shown, including on Mac.

These commands affect the actual activity structure when used in Edit mode. Use Group or Sort for a presentation change instead.
When a shortcut does something else
Click the schedule grid or use the toolbar command directly. If your cursor is in a text field, finish or cancel that edit first. A browser print/find dialog may appear when the schedule is not handling the shortcut, and system keyboard mappings may intercept function or arrow keys.
Use Escape to dismiss the active menu or dialog as appropriate. In dashboard update previews, Escape clears the preview. See the Gantt tour for the equivalent visible controls.
