Navigate Syncify
Syncify has three levels of navigation: your account-wide tools, the selected workspace, and the selected project. Start by checking the names in the top bar whenever the page does not show the work you expected.
The top bar
- Workspace selector: switch between your personal space and team workspaces you can access.
- Project selector: move to a project within the selected workspace.
- Schedule selector: while viewing a schedule, choose the file you want to review. Its name and tags help distinguish the working file from a baseline or update.
- Share: choose access to the current schedule, project, or workspace.
- User menu: Profile, Members, Documentation, Billing, appearance, and Logout, according to your access.
A project and a schedule can have similar names. Check the schedule’s ID, status date, and Current or Update tag before making changes.

Pages and actions depend on your role, workspace type, and project capabilities. A person given one schedule may not have access to the rest of its project. If Schedule has no file to open, use Files and set the intended schedule Current.
Find a project
Open Projects in the correct workspace. Search by a recognizable project name or ID, then use filters such as status, phase, client, location, type, or sector to narrow the list. Switch between the available list, tile, and map presentations as useful. Map placement depends on project location information.
Programs organize related projects at the workspace level. Folders on Files organize schedules inside one project. Neither is a replacement for the project’s WBS.
Find a schedule
Use Files when you already know the project. Use Library when you remember the file but not its project. Expand a parent file to reveal saved versions, and check Show archived if an older schedule is missing.
Inside a schedule, use Find tasks to locate an activity by name or ID. A task hidden by a filter or collapsed group may require clearing that filter or expanding the group. The Gantt tour explains the grid and timeline controls.
When a toolbar button is missing
On smaller windows, additional actions move into More actions. The command menu, opened with Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux or Cmd+K on Mac, is another way to find available schedule commands.
Some actions appear only in Edit mode, only after selecting an activity, or only when the file is editable. Closing a side panel can also make more room for the toolbar and timeline. See Troubleshooting if a command remains unavailable.
Return to the same working context
Use explicit file names and saved views instead of relying on the browser’s last open page. A view remembers a presentation; a version preserves schedule data. Changing a view never changes which schedule is Current. For terminology, see Understand projects and schedules.
